Essex County OPP officers are looking for witnesses after a man allegedly caused a crash and brandished a knife in Leamington.

Essex County OPP officers are looking for witnesses after a man allegedly caused a crash and brandished a knife in Leamington. On July 8 at 6:29 p.m., officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Erie Street South. Through the investigation police say they determined that the accused caused a collision and brandished a knife.

Nobody was injured. A 36-year-old Leamington man has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences: The investigation is ongoing and the OPP are asking anyone that may have witnessed anything in the area of 81 - 91 Erie St. S. in the Municipality of Leamington, to come forward. Anyone with information regarding this or any other incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
