Source Toronto’s rollercoaster ride of weather continues this week with a yellow warning issued due to heat. Recommended Videos The Weather Network says the warning was issued at 5:22 a.m on Monday morning by Environment and Climate Change Canada, saying “a heat event begins today.” The agency is calling for maximum temperatures of 30-37 C and minimum temperatures of 20-24 C and humidex values of 38-45 C. The heat wave was scheduled to begin Monday and end either Wednesday or Thursday evening. The Weather Network says Tuesday will mark the peak of the heat event and the maximum temperatures will reach near 37 C in some areas over southwestern Ontario, around the Greater Golden Horseshoe and eastern Ontario.
