Wildfire near Anarchist Mountain east of Osoyoos Published 2:21 pm Monday, July 13, 2026 BC Wildfire planes, helicopters and ground crews are on scene of a fire at Regal Ridge near Anarchist Mountain off Highway 3 on July 13. The fire, last estimated at 1.7 hectares in size, and is suspected to have been caused by human activity. Two helicopters and air tankers have been deployed to the fire so far, along with 13 ground personnel from BC Wildfire.
Osoyoos Fire Rescue and the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department are providing mutual aid on the fire. The Anarchist Mountain Fire Department issued a brief message on social media asking people to stay clear of the area and the crews on scene. The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen stated it was monitoring the fire, and that any evacuation alerts or orders, if ncessary, would be issued through a notification sent via the RDOS’ Voyent Alert! system.
