Quinte West’s mayoral race has seen a new entry. Dennis Flintoff is the third person to file for the municipality’s top position in this fall’s municipal election. In a statement on social media, Flintoff said he pledges to provide transparent leadership, responsible financial management, and a strong focus on infrastructure and community growth.

He said he is entering the race because he believes Quinte West has tremendous potential and that residents deserve a municipal government that is accountable, fiscally responsible, and focused on delivering value for taxpayers. Flintoff’s campaign will focus on several key priorities: • Fiscal accountability and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. • Long-term infrastructure planning and investment.
