Steve’s Music Store said it will hold an auction to sell off its remaining inventory at its last storefront as it winds down operations. Musical instruments, professional audio equipment, DJ as well as furniture will be up for sale. The online auction will be held July 22 and 23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those interested need to register to bid.

After six decades in business, the Montreal music store chain announced earlier this year that it was closing its physical stores in Quebec and Ontario due to financial challenges and online competition. The flagship store on Sainte-Catherine Street in downtown Montreal was the only remaining storefront.
