Samsung is giving Galaxy power users a massive customization upgrade with a brand-new update to one of its most popular Good Lock modules. The latest version of the Home Up app, carrying version number 18.0.0.24, has officially hit the Galaxy Store. Designed specifically for phones running the Android 17-based One UI 9, this release brings a handful of highly requested features that completely change how you interact with your home screen, the application dock, and side panels.

While the software package initially rolled out to users in South Korea, the update is rapidly expanding to global markets. The most significant addition to the app is a comprehensive overhaul of user-mappable physical shortcuts. There are also advanced visual styling controls that allow for deeper device customization.

Unlocking advanced multi-finger gestures The standout feature in this Home Up release is the introduction of highly customizable multi-finger gestures. Galaxy owners can now set two-finger, three-finger, four-finger, and even five-finger swipe and pinch actions across their displays, as SamMobile reports. The module allows you to map these movements to 27 distinct system actions, offering up to 36 unique combinations.

For example, you can set a quick three-finger downward swipe to instantly trigger a screenshot or use a five-finger pinch to jump straight back to your primary home screen. Samsung has also included granular settings to fine-tune the experience. This allows you to adjust gesture sensitivity, select unique on-screen glow animations, choose custom haptic vibration patterns, and seamlessly disable these shortcuts while typing to avoid accidental inputs.

Total control over docks and panels Beyond gesture control, the update introduces a brand-new “Sticker Action” tool. This is a DIY home screen auto-arrange layout system and dedicated background customization options for both the Edge Panel and the Favorites panel—which functions as your home screen dock. It now lets you apply nine preloaded background images or choose from ten distinct solid colors.

So, you are no longer forced to use the standard transparent or solid styles. Last but not least, you can also alter finer design parameters. The list includes horizontal and vertical padding adjustments, corner radius curves, and advanced blur or shadow effects.
