Police looking for missing man last seen over a week ago in Oakville

Police say he could be travelling by foot, transit or hitchhiking

NEWS RELEASE HALTON REGIONAL POLICE ***************** The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance is locating a missing man last seen in Oakville. Travers Jones (37) was last seen on foot on July 4, in the area of Queens Avenue in Oakville.

Travers is described as: - Male - Black - Approximately 5’9” tall, with a slim build - Wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, black ballcap and black sneakers Travers has previous ties to Kirkland, Ontario and Nova Scotia. He could be travelling by foot, hitchhiking or travelling by transit. Anyone with information about Travers or his possible whereabouts is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
