Police find stolen vehicle in Waterloo, arrest two teenaged girls

Teenage girls from Brantford and Kitchener have been charged after a vehicle was stolen from Waterloo. Someone reached out to police at 11 a.m. on July 11 to tell them a vehicle that was parked on Albert Street had been stolen. Officers went to the area and found the vehicle.

However, as they approached it, the driver reversed into a police cruiser. No one was hurt, but two teenage girls were arrested. A 16-year-old from Brantford was charged with theft of a vehicle, possession of stolen property over $5,000, obstructing a peace officer, possessing cannabis under 19-years-old and driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available.

The passenger, a 17-year-old from Kitchener, was charged with theft of a vehicle and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
