One man dead following multi-car crash in Delta Published 5:52 pm Wednesday, July 15, 2026 Ladner Trunk Road in Delta is closed between 96th Street and Highway 91 as police investigate a fatal collision involving several vehicles. Police say the stretch of road is expected to remain closed for several hours while the DPD’s Collision Investigation Team conducts its investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

According to a police press release, officers responded to a report of a multi-vehicle collision in the 9800-block of Ladner Trunk Road just after 3:00 p.m. Four vehicles were involved, with multiple occupants, and five people were transported to hospital with injuries. Police say that despite the lifesaving efforts of first responders, one adult man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine the factors that contributed to the collision.
