Jeannine Mayhew (née Paquette) It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jeannine Mayhew (née Paquette) on July 8, 2026, at the age of 84 years. She was a devoted and loving mother to Colette (Pierre), Marielle (late Jean-Pierre), Richard (Veronica), and Yvon (Laurie).

She was a cherished grandmother to Jennifer (Emmanuel), Angèle (Kevin), Kimberly (Lance), Danny (Chelsey), René (Michelle), Francis, Rebecca, Rachelle (Chris), Michel (Joe-Anna), Vicky (Ashlee), and Amanda (Matt), and a proud great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter all of whom brought her immense joy. Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Noëlla (Marcel), Pauline (late Paul), Rhéal (late Pauline), and Paulydore (Judy). She was predeceased by her siblings Carmelle, Julienne (René), Rémi, Albert, Jean-Marie, Paul Emille, Aline, and Marcel.

Jeannine’s gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and treasured memories that will continue to live on through her family for generations to come. Her passion for music, her talent for song revisions, will be missed by all who had the honour to partake in a family and or friend gathering.

Her apt for bringing costumes to life from her trusted sewing machines and her devotion to alterations will missed by the family and many of her trusted clientele. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Jeannine’s memory to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North and Crystal Crematorium.
