Article content POOR TURNOUT Embarrassing support for Edmonton Football: What great entertainment at Commonweath Thursday night. The green and gold are very good this year and have the best RB in the league. This franchise has given us many years of championships.

Forget the name issue, this is green and gold the oldest sport franchise in Edmonton. Thursday night was one of the worst-attended games. You can say goodbye to professional football in Edmonton in two years if attendance does not pick up.

LET CANADIANS SPEAK Now that Prime Minister Mark Carey has shown his Liberal government will be treating Alberta with the respect it has previously not always had, perhaps the time has come for Canadians, who do not reside in Alberta, to express their feelings about that province.

One option for an official referendum question could read as follows. ‘Do you want Alberta to be allowed to remain a province of Canada, or should the Government of Canada commence the legal process required under the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding federal referendum on whether or not Alberta should be kicked out of Canada?’ Trudeau is gone.
