OPPO has just confirmed what has been talked about for a while now, and it’s regarding OnePlus. OnePlus is leaving the US and Europe; there will be no more OnePlus products announced in either of those two regions. This is something we confirmed would happen a while back, and we were first to do so.

OnePlus as a company is not going away, but it’s leaving the US and Europe OnePlus as a company is not going away, though, but its focus will be elsewhere. OPPO did confirm that OnePlus users will have input, and the company also promised that all support promises will be fulfilled. OPPO emphasized several times during my briefing that all promised updates for existing products are fully guaranteed.

So if you bought one of OnePlus’ smartphones, don’t worry; you’ll get the right treatment. The company also said that this decision was not triggered by a single factor. It was made following a “long-term evaluation and assessment.”

OPPO says that the decision was made by the need for a global product strategy alignment with a focus on users. OPPO is considering further global markets for its expansion The company wants to place the right brand in the right market, and there’s an idea for all of that, it seems. It was also said that OPPO is considering further global markets in terms of its expansion.

So we could see OPPO products spread their wings in the future, especially in Europe. OPPO also emphasized that there will be more focus on younger generations when it comes to its product placement in Europe. The focus will be on the OPPO Reno and Find X series devices.

Furthermore, if you’re still interested in getting one of OnePlus devices, now that you know what’s happening and the fact that they’ll remain supported, feel free to do so. They’ll remain available while stocks last. We still don’t know what this means for the US

We still don’t know what this means for the US users. OnePlus phones were available in the US, does that mean OPPO’s will replace them moving forward? We did not get any information regarding that, unfortunately.
