Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band Centerfield to headline concert at the home of the Okotoks Dawgs on Aug. 29
Seaman Stadium will once again be hosting an end of summer concert. The Okotoks Dawgs, in partnership with the Town of Okotoks, have announced that Centerfield, a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover band, will be taking the stage on Saturday, Aug. 29. Girl Crush and Brettyn Rose are returning to serve as opening acts.
Starring Dan Hare, Centerfield is the ultimate tribute to the music of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Centerfield authentically recreates CCR’s classics along with the best of Fogerty's later hits. Tickets are now available at tickets.dawgsbaseball.ca or by calling 403-262-3294.
Seaman Stadium, built in 2007 and home to the Dawgs of the Western Canadian Baseball League, hadn't played host to a concert until 2024 when Eagles tribute band Eagle Eyes headlined a show. Last year, Fleetwood Mac tribute band Fleetwood Magic was the featured attraction. This year's concert will once again send the baseball season off in style as the Dawgs will have completed their 2026 WCBL season by that date.
