CMHA hosting free barbecue at Community Wellness Centre

It's an opportunity to learn more about the centre and its programs

The Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern BC will host a free Community BBQ Appreciation Event on Friday, July 24, 2026, from noon-4 p.m. at the Connections Wellness Centre, 2816 Norwood St. The event is open to Connections Wellness members, their families and anyone interested in connecting with the community. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary barbecue, meet new people, and learn more about the wellness programs and services offered through the centre.

Admission is free. While attendance is at no cost, an optional donation box will be available for those who wish to support future community events and mental health programming at the Connections Wellness Centre. Organizers encourage everyone to attend, bring a friend, and enjoy an afternoon of food, friendship, and community connection.
