We independently select everything we recommend. Buying through us may earn us a commission, which supports our work. American actor Josh Duhamel took to social media to show a little love to B.C. this week.

The film and television star, whose credits include Transformers and Las Vegas, shared a selfie video standing on the slim strip of bridge at Hell’s Gate in Boston Bar. ‘British Columbia, baby! Hell’s Gate,” Duhamel declares in the clip over the sound of the rushing river in the background as he panned the picturesque span of the Fraser Canyon.

“Come on!” The actor, who has been in B.C. filming a new movie called Runaway this summer in Maple Ridge, has shouted out the province a few times on his Instagram account. “It’s so beautiful out here,” he noted earlier this season.

Duhamel isn’t the only star showing the province some love this summer. Actor James Marsden took to Instagram to share a gallery of images from his summer holidays. While the actor, whose credits include X-Men and 27 Dresses, didn’t name the location of his outdoor images, eagle-eyed fans shouted out that his images were taken in B.C.

“Into the wild,” Marsden captioned the selection of 16 photos that feature black bears, an orca, glamping tents and more. “I know B.C. when I see it!,” commented a fan on the photos. There’s been a host of celebrity sightings in and around Vancouver this summer.

The stars of the Prime Video hit show Off Campus were snapped at B.C. Place Stadium last month for the Egypt vs. New Zealand World Cup match. Fan photos and video flooded social media of the group, which included: Vancouver actor Stephen Kalyn, Belmont Cameli, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Ella Bright, India Fowler and Louisa Levy. And Lord of the Rings and Yellowjackets star Elijah Wood stopped by Chinatown’s sourdough pizza spot Thank You Pizza in June.

The actor, wearing a camo-print jacket, posed for a smiling pic with some of the eatery’s staff. The Thank You Pizza team posted the photo on their Instagram account with the caption, “Thanks for stopping by!!!!! #elijahwood”.
