RCMP say they were called to a fire in the 1600 block of East Chezzetcook Road at 7:30 a.m. AT.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and found the remains of a 59-year-old man inside. The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service, Halifax Fire and police are investigating.
