Alberta RCMP say three people are dead following a collision between a Jeep SUV and a semi-truck last week. Just before 4:30 p.m. on July 9, Mounties responded to a report of a serious collision along Highway 28 between Range Road 233 and Highway 28A, north of Gibbons, Alberta — roughly 25 km north of Edmonton. Mounties say that all three occupants — a 65-year-old man from Gibbons, a 59-year-old man also from Gibbons, and a 64-year-old man from Redwater — who were in the Jeep at the time, were declared dead at the scene.
